A Symposium on SDG was organized by the Business school of Bahria University Islamabad in seminal collaboration with AXIS Academy, Planning Commission Of Pakistan, UNDP Pakistan and NUST. Dr. Muhammad Naveed, Dean of Business school opens the forum with his welcoming address followed by discussion on the role of academia in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Chief guest M Ali Kemal , Chief SDGs at Planning Commission of Pakistan highlights the importance of SDGs and ways to achieve these goals. Muhammad Usman Kemal CEO AXIS Academy highlighted the importance of SDGs in Academia. Ms. Barira Hanif from NUST, Mr. Nadeem Ahmad from SDG Unit of Planning Commission, and Mr. Raziq Muhammad Shinwari Economic policy advisor, SDG Unit of Planning Commission were also present in the event.
Training workshop on Design Thinking was organized in Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur. CEO of AXIS Academy, Mr. Usman Kemal was invited as a trainer to conduct a training. Students of Bachelors and Masters level attended a training and loved the interactive session organized by the university.
on 3rd of September, opening Ceremony of AXIS Academy was held in Golden Market, G-7/3-3, Islamabad. Mr. Amir, head of youth wing of PTI was the chief guest on the occasion. The event stated with the recitation of Holly Quran followed by an opening address by the CEO Mr. Usman Kemal, who shared the need to establishing an academy in the area followed by a speech by the chief guest Mr. Amir. Later, the chief guest cuts the ribbon to formally start the academy.
